What is needed for the Summer Camp?
Your student needs sneakers, cleats and water. T-Shirt and shorts will be provided.
Will there be a break during Summer Camp?
Yes, there will be no camp July 1st - July 4th. There is also no camp on Fridays.
How will I know which team my son is on?
The Coaches will let your son know if they are JV Green/Gold or Varsity. This could change throughout the season.
How will I know what the practice schedule is?
The Coaches will announce when the following weeks practice schedule is and will communicate with the team if there are any changes.
My son will miss practice, who do I contact?
Have your son contact their coach through GroupMe. Do not post it on BoosterHub chat because it is not monitored by the coaches. It is the athletes responsibility to inform their position coach if they will miss or be late to a practice/game.
It's raining, will practice be canceled?
Practice happens rain or shine, the team will go to the weight room if they cannot be on the field.
Practice ends at 6, where is my son?
If coach says that "practice ends at 6," they are released from the field at that time, then they return to the locker room to change and pack up.
Do I need to buy a football Girdle?
Yes, you can find them at Dick's Sporting Goods, Academy Sports or Amazon. These are worn under their game pants.
What happens on game days?
The players stay after school and are fed a meal as a team before dressing for the game.
My son has a food allergy/ religious dietary restriction, who do I tell?
On the registration form, there is a spot to put food allergies. The team meal committee will try their best to accommodate allergies. Feel free to pack extra food/snacks with their lunches if it makes your more comfortable.
Where do I go to register my player?
Go to www.neaseftbl.com under registration to find all open programs.
Can I take my child home after their game?
No, players must ride to and from the game on the bus as a team.
My player came home and told me that he has an injury, what do I do?
If your son says that he is injured or hurt, whether from a practice or a game, have him see Ms. Ashley (the athletic trainer). They have time to visit her during their weight lifting class (1st for JV and 7th for Varsity.). You can directly reach out with any concerns or questions @ ashley.raymond@st.johns.k12.fl.us
How/Where do I sign up to volunteer?
Open the volunteer section in BoosterHub and select the event/game and opportunity you are interested in and click the blue volunteer button you would like to assist with.
